- tuesday to saturday, from 5 pm till late. closed sunday and monday. we run seasonally, through october.
- how do i get a table?
- reservations are on opentable — the reserve page on this site will take you there. or call (709) 728-9155 and we'll sort it out.
- what kind of restaurant is this?
- contemporary canadian cooking at 281 water street, st. john's — a chef's tasting alongside an à la carte menu, built around what's good on the island that season. the name belongs to the chinese-newfoundland laundry that came first.
- i have an allergy — can i eat here?
- every dish on the menu lists what it contains. tell us when you book, and tell your server when you sit down — the kitchen would rather know twice.
- is there a dress code?
- business casual, loosely held. come comfortable.
- do you have a patio?
- we do — seasonal and weather-permitting, like the rest of us.
- where do i park?
- no lot of our own — street parking and the public lots downtown are your best bet. we are in the bowring building at 281 water street.
